April LAMBERT

April Lambert is a high school student who lives in a small town. She has always been a bit of a loner, but she is also very intelligent and ambitious. One day, she discovers a strange book in the library. The book is about a group of space pirates who are fighting to protect the galaxy from an evil empire. April is immediately drawn into the story, and she soon decides that she wants to join the pirates. She sneaks out of her house one night and goes to the spaceport. She finds the pirates' ship, and she boards it. The pirates are surprised to see her, but they agree to let her join them. April quickly learns how to fight, and she becomes a valuable member of the crew. The pirates travel to different planets, and they fight many battles against the empire. April becomes a hero, and she is eventually named the captain of the ship. She leads the pirates to victory, and she saves the galaxy from the evil empire. April returns to her home town, and she is welcomed as a hero. She uses her newfound fame to help others, and she becomes a role model for young people everywhere.
